Woman’s losses far exceed legal victory (New Haven Register)

NEW HAVEN — Brunilda Perez has won a Superior Court judgment to receive more than $540,000 from a man who misled her about refinancing her home and investing in real estate, but she says the legal win is “just a piece of paper.”
